SailGP: Sailing, redefined
The task: SailGP was effectively a fledgling start-up looking to redefine sailing. Six teams, six nations over five international events. The fastest sailing boats in the world competing for a winner take all $1m prize money. Storyman was hired by the SailGP commercial team to create a series of high-end promos to sell the event to sponsors, potential new teams, host cities, and broadcasters. We needed to create films with a wow factor that would give the commercial team the tools they needed to increase revenue and transform a traditional sport into a world-class spectacle.
